St. John's (28 July 2011) – The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE/NUPGE) and local poultry producer and processor, Country Ribbon Inc. have signed a new three-year collective agreement.
The new agreement includes a three-year wage increase, a signing bonus, an increase in full-time workers and improvements to health insurance and overtime benefits. The contract is in effect from June 17, 2011 to June 16, 2014.

NAPE/NUPGE represents approximately 300 employees at Country Ribbon Inc. who go the distance to ensure fresh, quality, made-right-here chicken products for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.
