Help care for the environment! Join the Highway 10 Clean-up on June 4.

Winnipeg (25 May 2016) — The Safety, Health & Environment Standing Committee of the Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union (MGEU/NUPGE) is gearing up for a Highway 10 Clean-up near The Pas on June 4.

Volunteers needed for clean-up crew

The MGEU/NUPGE committee is looking for volunteers to join them in cleaning up the garbage that’s collected along an 8 km stretch of Highway 10 north of The Pas. The clean-up starts from the Kikiwak Inn on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 9 a.m.

Everyone is welcome to join in. If you want to help, please dress for the weather and bring a pair of rubber boots in case the ditches are wet. Snacks and refreshments for volunteers and area members will be provided after the clean-up at the Kikiwak Inn (Constant Room).

For more information, contact Carole Reimer or Ernest Muswagon or call the MGEU Resource Centre at 1-866-982-6438.
