Convention 2010

Delegates at the 2010 Triennial Convention of the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE) took stock of the union’s activities and achievements since the previous convention in June 2007 and address challenges facing the union as it looks ahead to the coming years.

The overarching theme of the 2010 convention was: All Together Now.

Delegates overwhelmingly supported a comprehensive, long-term campaign for the union that will focus on three key elements:

  • Promoting the value of public services.
  • Defending public employees.
  • Fighting for tax fairness.
