BCGEU welcomes 75 new members in seniors’ care delivery

Vancouver (06 April 2018) — The B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union (BCGEU/NUPGE) welcomes 75 new members following a merger between 2 seniors' care facilities in Greater Victoria. On April 1, Rest Haven Lodge, which will continue to operate 73 residential complex care beds for seniors in Sidney, merged with Broadmead Care Society where the BCGEU/NUPGE already represents over 400 workers.

The BCGEU/NUPGE represents over 16,000 workers in various health care sectors.
