New Brunswick Union members at College of Craft and Design ratify agreement

Union says contract is fair and equitable for both sides.

Fredericton (05 July 2017) — The instructors of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design have agreed to a new contract with their employer. The group is represented by the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE).

The length of the new collective agreement is 5 years and 3 months and will become official once it's signed.

"The bargaining team on both sides should be congratulated for coming to an agreement on a fair and equitable contract for both sides," said Susie Proulx-Daigle, NBU President.

Members of this group provide excellent instruction to their students in a wide range of subjects at the campus located in Fredericton. In addition to their teaching, they also create excellent works of art in their own right, contributing to our province's vibrant art community.

The signing ceremony will take place at a later date.
